Planning - Timeline

Hey guys, though my project proposal gives an idea of my order of planning and producing, I want to break it down more and explain what it means I have to do.

Timeline Breakdown

March 8th: Finalize and visit restaurant choice

By Sunday, I want to know the restaurant choice and figure out a time to visit the restaurant to order some of their popular dishes for my review and photos to put in the article.

March 9-10th: Look over photos and edit, if needed

Between these two days, I will look over the photos I took on the 8th to see if they follow the conventions for food photography and if not I will work on editing them so that they do. When I'm done with editing them I will focus on placing them in their space on the feature article layout page as well as the cover image of

March 10-19th: Finish planning phase

Over these days, I want to post my plans for the entire process of the magazine, showing all my ideas and thoughts. For posting, I think I will post at least 2 post a day, depending on how many planning posts I have. They will all have a sub-title that shows what the post will be about (e.g. Planning - Table of Contents)

March 20-26th: Start & Finish production of magazine

During these 5 days I will begin uploading all my images to InDesign and start placing my information in the prepared spot in the layout. I also will focus on the text that needs to go into the magazine (e.g. Feature article, Table of Contents)

March 26th: Post Final Brief

This post will just be my final product of my magazine. There is no other necessary information needed for this post other than the final magazine.

March 27-29th: Create/Film Critical Creative Reflection

During the first day I will have planned out the creative part of the reflection such as doing a presentation on Microsoft or a stop motion film and which question it will tie to. The next 2 days will be left for creating these reflections.

March 30th: Publish Reflections and make any last edits/updates to posts

This is the last day for me to anything else to the blog. I will look over all the posts and make sure I don't forget any information and add information, if needed.

This post helps show my timeline for getting the entire process done for this magazine. This way I keep my process organized and broken down so that I can always go back to it. One challenge could be falling behind the schedule, since it is planned out perfectly. If this happen I just have to quickly fix it by combining processes or cutting posts.
