Production - Layout Design

Hey guys for this production post, I want to focus on my layout design across my magazine. So let's look at the layout for the table of contents and the feature article.

Table of Contents:

I plan to use one photo to cover both pages to help it look cohesive with the final look of the table of contents. As well, I will place a white text box behind the list of section names and pages so that there is no conflict with not being able to read it because of the photo.

Feature Article:

This layout is to focus on a restaurant review which is why I put these placeholders for the information where they are. This could be updated based on the length of my feature article or if I need more images to support the article.

This wraps up our post about layout design by showing how I broke the page up so that everything works together. Stay tuned for posts about these layouts being filled in with information for the magazine!
